MANZINI 'Superba' piston pumps are high quality, long life pumps for the movement of:

SPECIFICATION
MANZINI pumps have a very high self priming power ( -9.3 mt.), no problem for dry working
, very low number of revolutions (35/40 rpm. in 1st speed and 75/80 rpm max. in 2nd
speed), very low mechanical wear even when transferring very abrasive products (like
sludges and muds, wash-basin paste etc.), very low maintenance.
Expected working life 30/40 years (depending on working hours).
MANZINI pumps are manufactured using thick castings both for the pump
body and the gear reducer, for extra strength, reliability and a longer working life, helicoidal gears
serration, ample end of stroke gap (retracted piston/s) to ensure that solid foreign
bodies (bottom of tank, dregs, pieces of wood or metal, small stones etc going into the pump
cylinders due to accidental suction) may not cause serious damage to the piston and connecting rod or
drive gear and also to avoid generation of Lees (dregs) and tannins, completely avoiding pressing skins and grape stones.
Manzani pumps can work dry for many minutes without any problem and have a maximum working pressure of 3.5 bar
in second speed and 4,5 bar in first speed.
MANUFACTURING MATERIALS
Gears are made in spheroidal cast iron for the better strength and longer
working life of the same, reducer carters are completely made in aluminium thick casting, body pump using
bronze BZN7 thick casting (STANDARD version) or stainless steel thick casting (INOX version),
cylinder sleeves and other parts made in stainless steel, as follows, trolley using thick stamped plate specially treated (8 years
rust-proof guarantee), ball bearings of high quality trade marks like NTN (made in JAPAN) and/or SKF (made in
GERMANY).
STANDARD INOX-BRONZE MODELS: these models are equipped with removable cylinders (4 mm. thickness),
piston rods, pistons, valve seats, pressure chambers, seal covers and other internal parts made in stainless steel AISI 316
the body pump is made in high thickness casting
INOX MODELS: in the INOX version pump body is entirely made in stainless steel AISI 316 high thickness casting.
On request on the models SM 200, 2C 350, 2C 420 is possible to fit a throttle inversion (instead of ball type with by
pass) for liquids with big parts in suspension as the one
fitted on the models SM 300, 2C 520 up to 2C 1200;
